 Professional Staff
New Beginnings Family Services, Inc. has a professionally trained staff consisting of experienced foster care consultants, a Ph.D. clinical psychologist, a M.S.S.W.
who handles referrals and assessments, and administrative staff. Our board of directors consists of community representatives devoted to supporting our mission.
Foster care consultants conduct home study assessments to gather information on potential therapeutic foster care families. This includes conducting background, criminal
record and child abuse and neglect checks, obtaining financial documentation, presonal health histories and conducting interviews with family members. Foster care consultants
are trained professionals who evaluate the home before recommending a license.
Placing Children in Foster Care Homes
New Beginnings places children ranging in age from infancy to 18 with licensed therapeutic foster care families located in Kentucky. We are approved to place all
levels (1 to 5) including clinically challenged children. Since our agency began, an average of 36 children a year have been placed with foster care families and a few have been adopted.
New Beginnings does not discriminate in accepting children or foster care families into its program based on race, color, religion, sex, national orgin or disability.
